When you work for a company like Keller Williams, it’s much more than just a place to work, KW Cares! Here at KW Memorial, we enjoy many benefits of working under a company like KW, and one of those perks is KW Cares.
KW Cares is a public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families. If you or your family suddenly experience a hardship from a sudden emergency, you can take advantage. A hardship is defined as any difficult circumstance that a person or family cannot handle without outside help.
In 2014, KW Cares made grants totaling $1,918,626 to KW associates in 30 of 33 regions and for providing disaster relief as needed! Grants are typically given for those fighting serious illnesses or recovering from life-altering accidents, but grants are also given to major disaster relief efforts and to organizations with shared values. For instance, KW Cares awarded $403,663 to the Ryan’s Well Foundation, Homes for Our Troops and the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Where does the money come from for KW Cares? It comes straight from the KW community! Keller Williams market centers and regions across the country fundraise for KW Cares. KW even outlines steps you can take to set up a fundraiser in your own community.
Of course, if you don’t want to go through the work of hosting a fundraiser, you could always just donate whatever you can. You can use donations as tax deductions!
If you find yourself in a hardship as a KW associate, at any time, you may apply for a KW Cares grant! Keller Williams agents, employees and immediate family members of KW associates are eligible to receive these grants. The steps you take to apply for a grant are outlined on the website.
